General Manager, Global Spark Ignited Business - Cummins Inc.

Puneet Singh Jhawar is the General Manager of the global Spark Ignited business for Cummins Inc. In this role, he is responsible for the global natural gas, Propane, Octane business; including product vision, competitive positioning, financial management and overall performance of the spark ignited business across global markets.

Over his 15-year career at Cummins, Jhawar has been focused on helping customers achieve their success and he has managed and cultivated successful relationships with several Cummins’ largest global customers. His leadership and expertise has fueled growth of Cummins’ natural gas business in several key markets. Jhawar has extensive global work experience, with roles based in the Middle East, India, Europe and the US. Jhawar has implemented important new programs for Cummins, including the introduction of the Cummins fuel system on the B-platform for the first time.

Prior to his current role, Jhawar was involved in regional sales Middle East. Before joining Cummins, Jhawar held roles with Ingersoll Rand, MAN Diesel & Turbo Ltd. in India and the UK.

Jhawar holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Technical University in India and an MBA from University of Leeds in the UK. He is also actively involved in guest lectures at universities and in the education sector.

Nicolas Pierri is an Energy Engineer working in the energy sector for the past 7 years, focusing on renewable energy, energy efficiency and emissions reduction, currently working on the transport sector as process engineer, developing procedures, KPI's, reports and implementing a transport management system. 
He has studied well-to-wheel emissions and costs differences between NRG fleet of diesel and CNG heavy trucks, showing the importance of CNG sustitution of diesel in transportation as part of the company's compromise with the environment and climate change mitigation.

Kelly Hawes is CEO ColdStar Solutions Inc, a  transport company that specializes in hauling and distributing refrigerated and dry food between the communities of the Vancouver Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Gulf Islands in the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Coldstar operates a high-tech fleet of over 45 trucks was the first trucking company in Canada to purchase class 8 tractors with the 12 Liter Compressed Natural Gas engine.

With two decades of experience at the highest levels of government including public-policy, advocacy, and communications, Bruce has extensive experience working with stakeholders and industry associations to identify emerging economic opportunities and challenges.

He has an undergraduate degree in political science and history from the University of Toronto, and a master’s degree in political science and history from the University of Windsor.

Executive Director - International Gas Research Conference 2024 (IGRC2024)

Julie Gaudreau is the Executive Director of the International Gas Research Conference 2024 (IGRC2024) at the Canadian Gas Association (CGA). In this role, Mrs. Gaudreau oversees the creation, the development and the strategic positioning of the global conference as well as the engagement with the various stakeholders of the gas value chain, including key gas consumers and the gas technology innovation sub-sector. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Laval University and was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1997. After articling with a private law firm specializing in criminal, civil and matrimonial law, Mrs. Gaudreau held positions in sales, marketing and human resources in the information technology and financial services sectors for several years. Subsequently, she held a senior advisor position in the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada in Ottawa, where she was responsible for stakeholder relations. During this time, she had the opportunity to be part of the War Room team for the 2011 Federal Election. After leaving politics, she joined CN, one of North America's leading railroads, where she served as Senior Counsel - Strategic Advice to the Executive Vice-President, Corporate Services. She then worked as a consultant for the Laval Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
