The government of Alberta on March 3 issued the second request for full project proposals (RFPP) for carbon capture and storage (CCS) hub developments in the province.

Applications for pore space rights and hub developments anywhere in the province will be accepted between April 25 and May 2, when the RFPP will close at 2 pm MDT.

The first RFPP, for hub developments in Alberta’s Industrial Heartland outside Edmonton, closed on February 1. Successful projects under that process are expected to be announced by the end of March.
