Gas Vitality, the LNG bunker vessel owned by Japanese shipping company Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), and chartered by TotalEnergies, achieved a milestone by completing its 100th bunkering operation, V.Group said on January 23.

The vessel is managed by V.Ships France and has been operational since December 2021, stationed at the Port of Marseille-Fos in Southern France, serving the Mediterranean region.

Gas Vitality conducted simultaneous LNG bunkering operations by safely transferring 8,000 m3 of LNG from its 18,600 m3 LNG storage capacity to the MSC Freya, a container ship with a capacity of 15,000 TEU.

V.Ships, with a network of 18 ship management offices worldwide, provides ship technical services, risk management, procurement, and financial services across various sectors, including tankers, bulkers, containers, offshore, and leisure.
