The partnership's initial result, the Velocity Suite Power Prices, is now available on the Google Cloud Marketplace. This application, derived from Hitachi Energy's Velocity Suite, offers an API-based platform that provides access to valuable North American energy market intelligence. This tool empowers developers, operators of renewable energy generation and battery energy storage systems (BESS), traders, traditional generators, and other energy market participants to make well-informed and swift decisions regarding energy projects and investments in North America.
By utilising Velocity Suite Power Prices, stakeholders can streamline their planning and revenue analyses for ambitious grid and renewable energy initiatives. The cloud-based solution enables decision-making processes and revenue optimisation, aligning with the evolving energy landscape that prioritizes sustainability and efficiency, Hitachi Energy said.
