By Shardul SharmaAustralian clean energy company Pure Hydrogen Corporation has signed a term sheet with Solo Resource Recovery, a waste management company, to supply a hydrogen fuel cell (HFC) waste collection truck, the company announced on August 10.
This move involves the provision of a HFC waste collection truck, catering to municipal contracts, including the Tweed Shire Council in northern New South Wales. Under the terms of the agreement, Solo will lease the HFC waste collection truck for an initial six-month period, with the possibility of extending the partnership up to seven years.
Mark Taylor, national fleet manager at Solo Resource Recovery, stated, "Our partnership with Pure Hydrogen is a tangible step toward realizing a circular economy where the Environment, Consumers, and Industry converge for the greater good."
"This agreement reflects our ongoing commitment to providing hydrogen vehicles and fuel sources to our customers. As Australia continues to embrace sustainable energy solutions, our collaboration with Solo is a testament to our dedication to driving change,” Scott Brown, managing director of Pure Hydrogen, said.
Pure Hydrogen's HFC waste collection trucks boast a range of approximately 300 km before necessitating refuelling.
