LNG supplier Titan on August 24 announced the successful completion of the first two ship-to-ship (STS) LNG bunkering operations in Hamburg.

The first operation was performed on July 31 when Titan conducted STS LNG bunkering to the vessel Vox Ariane, owned by Van Oord, and was facilitated by its vessel, Optimus. The second STS LNG bunkering operation was also conducted on Vox Ariane on August 14. A total of 808 m3 of LNG were bunkered during this operation.

Recently, Titan and Carnival Corporation, a British-American cruise operator, concluded their first LNG bunker operation in the Port of Kiel, Germany. Optimus delivered LNG to Carnival’s AIDANova cruise vessel.

The 6,000 m3 LNG bunker vessel Optimus is chartered by Titan and owned by Elengir.
