Australian engineering company Worley on January 22 announced that it has secured a new five-year global framework agreement from global energy major BP.

Under this agreement, Worley will be responsible for providing engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services across BP's worldwide refinery assets and its new energy portfolio. This portfolio includes strategic initiatives in green and blue hydrogen, lower carbon fuels, and sustainable aviation fuels.

"We're pleased to be working with bp on this framework agreement, contributing to helping bp meet the world’s changing energy needs," Chris Ashton, CEO of Worley, said.

Worley will execute these services through its offices globally, with additional support from Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teams.
