India's ACME to supply green ammonia to Japan's IHI

By Shardul SharmaIndia’s ACME Group has signed an agreement to supply 0.4mn tonnes/year of green ammonia to Japan’s IHI Corporation, it said on January 23.
The green hydrogen and ammonia project at Gopalpur, Odisha, spearheaded by ACME, boasts a planned capacity of 1.2mn tonnes/year, to be developed in phases. The first production is anticipated within 2027.
Acme Group is one of the largest renewable independent power producers in India with a portfolio of more than 5 GWp of renewable energy capacity under operation and various stages of implementation.
