Peninsula, a leading marine energy supplier, successfully delivered LNG to MSC Euribia at the Spanish port of Cadiz, as announced by MSC Cruises on January 17.

According to MSC Cruises, MSC Euribia has become the first cruise ship to be fuelled with LNG at Cadiz during the vessel’s first visit to the Spanish port.

LNG was provided by Peninsula ahead of MSC Euribia’s 13-night voyage to Hamburg, Germany with visits en route to the Canary Islands, Morocco, Madeira, Portugal and the UK.

MSC Euribia, the second ship in MSC Cruises’ fleet powered by LNG, began operations in June 2023 following MSC World Europa’s launch in December 2022.

Peninsula recently started LNG bunkering operations in the Mediterranean.
