CGG, a global technology and high-performance computing (HPC) firm, has entered into a commercial cooperation agreement with C-Questra, an independent European operator specialising in the entire CCUS value chain, it said on January 9.

C-Questra brings expertise from emission sources to sequestration sites, with its founders and technical team boasting experience in CO2 sequestration.

The collaboration aims to expedite the development of specific carbon storage projects by harnessing CGG's industrial know-how and technological resources. CGG will provide crucial expertise and support, while C-Questra will spearhead project implementation, particularly in France.
