Sublime Energie, a France-based provider of biogas liquefaction technology, has secured €11.5mn ($12.6mn) in funding, it said on March 11.

This financing, obtained from the Revolution Environnementale et Solidaire fund managed by Credit Mutuel Impact and Mines Paris – PSL, will enable Sublime Energie to realise its objectives of producing low-carbon fuel and biogenic CO2.

The company stated that this funding will propel its efforts in advancing farm-based methanisation solutions tailored to the needs of French and European agricultural operations, aiming to valorise biomass and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.

With the support of this funding, Sublime Energie plans to develop, manufacture, and install a demonstrator capable of producing 180 tonnes of low-carbon fuel and 300 tonnes of biogenic CO2 annually, commencing operations in 2025. The demonstrator will be integrated within Gazea, a company specializing in farm-based methanisation.
